Essentially Medical

Essentially Medical provides GPs, nurses and all healthcare professionals free medical education led by local NHS Consultants. These meetings take place in the GPs surgeries. EM offers a wide range of topics with an extensive list of clinical specialties ensuring that GPs are kept up to date with the latest advances in medicine. We require at least four GPs to be present at each meeting, although other health professionals are also welcome. All attendees receive a Certificate of Participation. In our 12th year of providing these services, we have arranged more than 1800 educational meetings which include breakfast, lunchtime or early evening sessions. Refreshments are always provided. All our meetings are sponsored by pharmaceutical or medical companies and are organised according to the guidelines within the ABPI Code of Practice.
