Extropy is a specialist consulting firm in transport network operations and intelligent transport systems. The company was founded in 2010 to work closely with clients to assist them to optimise the performance of their transport networks. Sound ITS knowledge from design, construction, maintenance to operations: I have been working in the industry for more than 10 years. I have worked on all sides for the supply chain; from lead designer for roadside equipment; project construction manager to work for vendors to meet project outcomes; and now working within Network Operations assisting with system administration through to architectural documentation and strategic planning. Core technical background in computer systems and telecommunication: I have education within the computer systems, network and telecommunications engineer with a Masters in computer security. This has grounded me with the background knowledge which has been applied in multiple sectors: from transportation through to oil & gas and resources. Balance multiple variables to find a win-win solution: All projects or situations have multiple ways to be completed and multiple stakeholders with sometimes polar requirements. I take a balanced consultation approach to allow fair representation but always refer back to solid technical grounding before making final decisions.
