The Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology at Zagreb University was founded 25 years ago, although the studies of technology and biotechnology have a much longer tradition which goes back to the year 1921.The Faculty is well equipped with modern, computerized classrooms and laboratories where the students can obtain knowledge and exercise practical skills in the fields of chemistry, biology, microbiology, genetics, toxicology, food science as well as practice the application of modern instrumental and laboratory techniques in food analysis, food components, etc.
