Fastree3D

Fastree3D develops fast 3D cameras. Our technology enables safer driving and autonomous navigation by continuously monitoring the surrounding space, avoiding collisions by measuring the distance to objects with high confidence. Our team of 10 people has multidisciplinary background in semiconductor and photonics with successful product launch experience. Fastree3D’s flash LiDAR technology will be provided to selected partners in the form of a hardware development kit. Together we can explore applications in the domain of automotive safety and robotics. We are welcoming new team members experienced with CMOS system on chip and optics design to advance our single-photon detector technology already deployed in 1 billion consumer electronics products. The company started in 2014 as a spin-off from both EPFL and TU-Delft spin-off, based in Lausanne (CH) and Delft (NL) and leveraging 20 years of academic research in CMOS image sensors and single-photon detectors with a portfolio of >15 patents. We acknowledge the support from two European Horizon 2020 projects, one Swiss Innosuisse/CTI grant and two grants from Netherlands national research council NWO/STW. We are an active member of SPIE, Swiss Photonics, Photonics.NL, EPIC.
