Fayette County Community Action Agency was founded in 1966 as a community based, multi-serviced non-profit with the mission to strengthen individual and families to become fore self-sufficient, achieving their potential by taking advantage of opportunities, improving the conditions in which they live and taking ownership of their community. Our programming works to address emergency needs such as food and shelter for the newly poor, recently unemployed and homeless, as well as focusing on long term needs which empower and equip individuals and families to achieve self sufficiency.
