DSD Ferrometalco was founded in 1979 by the German Ferrostaal and is considered one of the Largest Steel Manufacturing and Construction Company in the Middle East as it has a production capacity of 50,000 Tons/Year, in which 30,000 Tons/Year of Steel Structures, 15,000 Tons/Year of Plate Work and 5,000 Tons/Year of Pipe Work. The company is completely owned by the German DSD Steel Group which was also founded by Ferrostaal, which is now completely owned to the Belgium Group DSD Steel Construction AG.
