History Fight For Children was created three decades ago when our founder Joseph E. Robert, Jr. combined his entrepreneurial spirit and business expertise with a commitment to improve children’s lives in Washington, DC. Since that day, Fight For Children has continued to rally leaders in DC’s business, education, government, and philanthropic communities, generating more than $70 million in support of DC’s youngest and most vulnerable residents. Today, Fight For Children is harnessing the collective power of youth sports for social good. Together, The Fight For Children Institute, Fight For Children Sports Medicine Center and The Fight For Children Honors embody the mission, vision and values of Fight For Children.
