FINLEY REGIONAL CARE has a rich history within the region, spanning back to the 1970’s. The need for a local facility to provide for services and care for the elderly population arose due to the rural location of Finley. The Finley Regional Care was established in 2010, to provide Aged and Community Care services to the wider Riverina region. Finley Regional Care was named to encompass the entire breadth of services that the organisation delivers and to symbolise the ongoing future journey of the facility. Finley Regional Care currently consists of a Residential Aged Care facility, Medical Centre, Complete Care and Alumuna. Our Aged Care facility provides 75 beds to those with varying needs and access to a range of services. This includes dual facilities for partners, an onsite hairdresser and access to a plethora of health care professionals including a podiatrist and dentist. Finley Regional Care also provides church services and caters for a wide variety of activities. Our Medical Centre caters to the wider community and patients are able to access a range of specialists including a mental and female health professionals, a visiting Surgeon, Podiatrist and Pathology services. Finley Regional Care has strong ties with the local hospital and we are able to refer those who need urgent care quickly. Our Complete Care packages allow our clients to stay in their own homes and maintain their independence. We offer packages for differing needs including respite care and a dedicated vehicle with disabled access. We are able to provide light cooking, personal support, home care duties and maintenance, just to name a few. Alumuna is our over 55’s living community – a retirement housing community for the independently minded retiree .
