First Eye Care

First Eye Care is an association of Independent Eye Care Professionals formed in 1985. Our mission is to provide Eye Care Professionals with strategic alliances within the eye care community to deliver superior services to their patients. The foundation of our vision rests on the philosophy that consistent and excellent service, knowledge and experience and high quality materials are essential to a successful eye care practice. These shared values are what drives each of our member practices. In forming strategic alliances with Eye Care industry leaders we strengthen our collective purchasing power to improve the performance of each member practice. However, First Eye Care is more than just a buying group. We strive to help independent optometrists to grow and succeed both financially and personally through the following initiatives: Promoting Independent Optometry: The First Eye Care Practice Management Fellowship Program allows new graduates the ability to practice to the fullest extent of their training in a professional mentoring environment. Continuing Education: Introductions to new technology and medical treatment options are presented in a round-table environment. Digital Marketing: Partnering with digital marketing experts we provide opportunities to grow every aspect of the Eye Care Professional’s practice. Rewards Incentives: Vendor-related programs provide for one of the highest levels of incentive programs available. Competitive Discounts: Members receive very competitive vendor discounts on a variety of services, products and equipment through the First Eye Care Alliance. Centralized Billing: The First Eye Care Alliance provides central billing with a low administration fee on practice purchases.
