Forte Tax & Law

Founded by Anton Kabakov and Mika Kokkonen in 2016, Forte Tax & Law is a law firm which focuses on corporate and tax law. Prior to founding Forte Tax & Law, both Anton and Mika managed for over 10 years the business operations of a well-known consulting company in Russia. In 2016, Anton and Mika decided to set up their own independent organization whose purpose would be to solely focus on the practice of tax and law. This objective has been achieved, and Forte Tax & Law is now manned by experienced and talented lawyers who are keen and committed to grow and become strong law-tax partners to international companies. As a newly-established law firm, we are eager to assist and make our mark on the market. We are therefore delighted and proud that our new company already has presence in Moscow and St. Petersburg and has so soon managed to engage 15 full-fledged professionals with proven track records and extensive experience in corporate, tax and labor law. Together, they will strive to provide legal services to international and local clients who invest and conduct business operations in Russia and the CIS. It is our intention to focus on providing practical business solutions and clear risk management guidance, with a special emphasis on tax compliance and tax advice. Our team of skilled and professional lawyers is very much looking forward to rising confidently to any challenges and tasks as it can draw from many years of experience and a long history of successes in Russia.
