Fraunhofer Singapore is a cutting-edge applied research centre that provides companies and industries with digital solutions and services to stay ahead of the competition. At Fraunhofer Singapore, we take real world problems and use technologies in the field of interactive digital media to transfer visual solutions and skilled minds to the market. As the very first Fraunhofer subsidiary in Asia, Fraunhofer Singapore delivers Visual Computing solutions to support the digitization of enterprises through the application of Visualisation, Virtual and Augmented Reality to transform industry and society towards the vision of Industry 4.0. This will also include additive manufacturing and industrial cybersecurity. We also look into applications to prepare your workforce for the future for the Employee 4.0. We leverage on the existing strengths of the Fraunhofer Project Centre for Interactive Digital Media (Fraunhofer IDM@NTU), one of the pioneers in applied research in IDM driven by the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research (IGD) in Darmstadt. We also work alongside with Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramics Technologies and Systems (IKTS) in Dresden and Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology (SIT) in Darmstadt, to further strengthen the value that we add to the society and industry here in Singapore.
