Front Range Fire Rescue stands ready 24 hours a day to provide emergency services with a combination of professionally trained career and volunteer staff. In addition, we assist our residents, business owners, and visitors with services ranging from emergency medical response to technical rescues, public education and community services. Front Range Fire Rescue established an agreement with University of Colorado Health/Poudre Valley Hospital to provide EMS service our communities at NO cost to the Authority. We now provide our own ambulances staffed with professional paramedic crews from UCH/PVH which keeps the cost at only the maintenance of the vehicles. Paramedic crews are stationed here in Johnstown and Milliken for extremely rapid response times Ambulance on-scene times have improved from 20 minutes to less than 9 minutes 93% of the time in suburban areas and less than 12 minutes 74% of the time in rural areas. Serving a population of over 20,000 situated in a 74 square mile service area, Front Range Fire Rescue continues to evolve in order to deliver the highest level of service possible.
