Frontera Ventures is a private capital group that believes in the growth-story associated with the long-term economic, trade (USMCA), and cultural forces in-play between the U.S. and Latin America. We seek real estate and operating businesses located at or adjacent to the U.S. southern border. We know our geographies of focus and leverage our deep familiarity of the cultural influences that are driving current trends and future growth. Frontera Ventures was founded in 2019 by Michael Stone and Greg Simon with the intention of combining their set of complementary skills, experience, and networks surrounding real estate investments and operating businesses in both the U.S. and Latin America. Frontera accesses capital from a diverse network of U.S. and international high net worth individuals and family offices. With this broad array of capital we nimbly pursue distressed, value, and growth opportunities. As a rule of thumb, we only pursue investments as a general partner or controlling shareholder, and never as a passive limited partner or minority shareholder. The firm employs and contracts over 200 corporate and field professionals and maintains its headquarters in Austin, Texas.
