History frontofbicycle Gallery was founded in 2013 by Nicolette Youdim and was quickly joined by two like-minded artists; Gudrun Sallaberger-Plakolb and Megan Rodgers, who collectively had the vision to support and promote international artists in Basel. The frontofbicycle team has successfully organized and hosted 12 exhibitions in Basel, representing over forty international artists. In 2017, Bettina Egli Sennhauser joined the team, allowing Megan to devote more time for her own artwork. About frontofbicycle brings artists, collectors, galleries, local businesses and communities together in Basel. frontofbicycle takes pride in showcasing contemporary works by national and international artists with an emphasis on painting, sculpture, installations and photography. The frontofbicycle team builds on the simple premise of providing well-organized exhibitions set in a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. To offer the opportunity for art enthusiasts to come together, to discuss art directly with our artists and also to purchase the artwork being exhibited.
