Fund for Educational Excellence

The Fund for Educational Excellence (Fund) is a nonprofit organization working to improve achievement for all students in Baltimore City Public Schools (City Schools). We work side-by-side with City Schools providing invaluable support for many of the district’s most important reform initiatives. Our work focuses on developing, implementing and sustaining district effectiveness that leads to increased student achievement in Baltimore City Public Schools including: District Fundraising.The Fund plays a critical role in attracting and securing private and public resources to support the groundbreaking work underway in City Schools. District Innovation Support. The Fund works closely with our City Schools partners to identify innovative models with a track record of success and facilitate their implementation to meet the unique needs of Baltimore City students. Knowledge Development. The Fund leverages our deep understanding of City Schools priorities to examine knowledge, policy and practice that have the potential to deliver promising outcomes and inform the district’s reform efforts.
