The aim of the foundation is to provide education and essential functional life skills training for young people with learning disabilities, particularly focusing on the needs of young people with borderline intellectual functioning. The charity is established in Bucaramanga, Colombia, initially working out of the Gimnasio Aldebaran. The work of the charity is to: (1) Study needs of the young people and their families (2) Outreach, support and education of family with these children (3) Outreach, support and education of teachers of these children (4) Liaising with relevant agencies, to identify roles and responsibilities and missing provision (Nick) (5) Research best practice to improve diagnosis, services and post intervention outcomes
