The mission of Future Doctors for South Sudan (FDSS) is to support the medical education and training of promising South Sudanese students in order to increase the number of doctors and quality of health care in South Sudan. The founder of FDSS is Dr. Ken Waxman, who witnessed these devastating health conditions first hand as a surgeon with Doctors Without Borders in Gogrial, South Sudan. Our first student, Malueth Angui, started medical school in August 2013.
