The Gaples Institute is a physician-led educational nonprofit. Our mission is to improve health through education to health care professionals and the community that emphasizes the role of nutrition and lifestyle measures-combined with the best in conventional medicine. The Gaples Institute is engaged in the following initiatives: -Web based resources for health care professionals and the community regarding integrative approaches to heart health -Presentations and training seminars to health care professionals and community members regarding natural approaches to heart health, combined with the best in conventional medicine -Advocacy efforts to require meaningful nutrition training in all phases of medical education
