gardian will keep your plants green, and tells you proactively how to do so. the gardian solution consists of two parts: hardware and software. the hardware consists of a small pocket watch sized all-in-one sensor kit, including a solar cell, radio chip and three leds to show you that it is active and connected. a consumer or florist only needs to put this kit in the dirt next to the plant itself. with the gardian app you can check the status and health of your plants at any place and time. the plant is directly connected to a low power and low priced “internet of things” (iot) network to broadcast the sensor measurements. via the app you receive tips and tricks on how to care for your specific plant the best. you also will have the option to reach out to a specialist. the app will also send you a proactive warning as notification if you plant receives too much or too little water, light or heat or when the plant has moved or toppled over.
