Give a Care is a young, innovative social enterprise delivering high quality and respectful care to adults living with a disability. Founded by Jeff Shaw, it is one of the fastest growing disability services in Victoria and the only known service in Australia to be founded and run by someone living with a disability. Give a Care supports over 500 people with different abilities across Melbourne and its dedicated and caring team all share Jeff’s mission of ensuring each individual is given choice and control over the support they receive. In October 2019, Jeff launched the charity arm of Give a Care - The Give a Care Foundation – to combat social isolation for adults with a disability.
