Our work is aimed at developing approaches to apply and test precision medicine strategies based on genomic sequencing data. The Glasgow Precision Oncology Laboratorys purpose-built capacity, expertise and resources are aligned in order to accelerate therapeutic development from discovery right through to clinical trials. Our team work in diverse disciplines, from basic biology and chemistry through to clinical trials and surgery to translate scientific discovery to patient care in the clinic. Within the GPOL team there is significant expertise encompassing basic science, histopathology, drug development, bioinformatics, translational techniques, quality assurance and clinical trials management.
