GCEL is a Swiss based, nonprofit, global public-private partnership (PPP) whose members and supporters include more than 150 countries through their pan-regional representatives, 26 IGOs/NGOs, and the world’s leading technology firms with nearly USD 900 billion market capitalization and 2.6 million manpower serving approximately 60% of the global GDP. These organizations have united together to create a new USD 5.5 trillion Digital Economy Industry, more than twice the size of today's oil and gold production combined. This new industry will be created by deploying the world’s first Digital Economy Platform (DEP), that provides trade participants thousands of seamlessly integrated Apps that digitize the B2B and B2G market place. By 2030, the DEP will contribute to increase the world’s GDP by USD 17%, reducing domestic and international trade costs by USD 3.7 trillion, increasing trade by USD 7.7 trillion and creating nearly 300 million jobs across all regions of the world.
