Golden Silkscreening Company Ltd. (Golden) is a Lakeside, Nova Scotia company owned and managed by Jim Baker since 1977. The company’s textile product line includes such items as T-shirts, hats, vests, jackets, pants, golf shirts and sweatshirts, which are normally purchased from outside suppliers and then silk-screened and embroidered. Golden not only manufactures products but also designs, markets, and distributes them. Over the last years the company has built a solid reputation for original quality products, exceptional workmanship and reliable on-time delivery. Initially, the company concentrated on their regional market but over the years has expanded their distribution. Currently, Golden focuses on the tourism, food, school, and retail segments of the market. They primarily distribute its products through retailers or directly to end-users, although in some markets it utilizes distributor and sales agents.
