Great Plains Health Alliance is an organization of leased, managed and affiliated hospitals in Kansas and Nebraska. Formed in 1950, GPHA is one of the oldest --and one of the largest-- not-for-profit management systems in the nation developed specifically to meet the special needs and challenges of the community health care system. What began as strictly administrative assistance has evolved into a comprehensive organization offering a variety of services, personnel, expertise and resource-sharing opportunities.
