Great Western Mining Corporation PLC is a mineral exploration company focused on gold, silver, copper and other mineral targets in Mineral County, Nevada, USA. The Companys primary strategy is to advance copper projects that have potential for the discovery of large mineralised systems through the various stages of exploration and development with a view to monetising one or more of those projects, whether through an outright sale, joint venture, or spin-out via initial public offering. In tandem with this primary strategy Great Western Mining seeks to develop smaller scale and shorter term gold and silver projects which have the potential to be taken beyond the development stage and brought into early production under its exclusive control, or in conjunction with a partner. Great Western Mining has surveyed and staked over 1000 claims over a widespread area in Mineral County totalling approximately 83 square kilometres. These claims are split into three groups covering six separate claim blocks: The Black Mountain Group covering an area of approximately 21 square kilometres and containing the Companys M2 Copper-Gold Project and Bass Mine/Mineral Jackpot Gold Prospect. The Huntoon Group covering an area of approximately 15 square kilometres and containing the Companys M1 Copper-Gold Project. The Golconda Fault Line Group covering an area of approximately 47 square kilometres encompassing four separate claim blocks: The JS group of claims containing the Companys M4 Copper-Gold Project and M5 Gold Prospect; The EM group of claims containing the Companys M8 Copper Prospect; The TUN group of claims containing the Companys M6 Gold-Silver Prospect; The RH group of claims containing the Companys M7 Silver Prospect.
