Pursuant to our mission, GEFCC is the leading provider of primary healthcare services for uninsured, publicly insured and underserved residents of Elgin, McHenry, and surrounding communities. We are a Joint Commission accredited, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that operates 28 healthcare access points throughout our communities. Opened in the summer of 2001, GEFCC is able to serve any individual or family needing healthcare and a medical home.
