Greenbrier Academy for Girls

Greenbrier Academy is a therapeutic boarding school with an immersive program specifically designed to help heal negative core beliefs that impact a teen girl's life. This is done through the close collaboration of our therapeutic, residential and academic departments within a supportive, peer-led community and the use of our Signature Therapeutic Programs as devices for change. Our program is designed to first initiate a desire for change in a student. She will be immersed in a community of peers rooted in our culture of Aspirations that serves as inspiration for what is possible. Led by her therapist, her Treatment Team utilizes every aspect of our Signature Therapeutic, Residential and Academic Programs as elements in her therapy. The experiences a student is exposed to help incorporate change in the less analytical right brain where her false beliefs and identity were created. This same framework is then used to reinforce her newly created positive beliefs by providing a safe and nurturing environment in which to grow and practice. We are not just a boarding school with a talk therapy aspect like so many other programs. Greenbrier Academy is an immersive, modern approach to therapy that you won’t find anywhere else.
