Greenkote

Greenkote is the developer of a patented corrosion-blocking, thermal diffusion coating technology – the Greenkote® process. This process is eco-friendly and involves no solvents, heavy metals or acids. Greenkote coatings find many applications in automotive parts, rubber-to-metal molding, mining, oil/gas, fasteners — anywhere corrosion poses a challenge to steel or iron-based components. In the Greenkote process, finished metal parts are heated in the presence of proprietary treated zinc alloy powders, causing the powders to vaporize and react with the metal part surfaces. This forms a fully-alloyed zinc-iron surface structure that covers the components conformally – even fine threads, recesses and holes. The resulting coating is metallurgically bonded into the surface, providing exceptional corrosion resistance, increased hardness and strong adhesion to paints and other topcoats. Greenkote can also coat small assemblies of parts that include features such as hinges, and still provide uniform coverage. Greenkote is a global provider of industrial coatings and surface modification technologies to a broad range of markets including automotive, mining and construction. Greenkote coating technology is available as a service from multiple Greenkote locations or through our global network of licensed applicators. The company also provides traditional e-coat and powder paint services to the automotive and appliance industries. For full information go to www.greenkote.com.
