Greg Raths for Congress

Colonel Greg Raths, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret.) has been part of the Orange County community for many years. He came to Mission Viejo in 1978 as a young First Lieutenant, where he was assigned to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing at the Marine Corps Air Station in El Toro. He is a highly decorated combat fighter pilot of Operation Desert Storm, Southern Watch & Restore Hope. He was also assigned to the White House by the Pentagon, where he served as the Chief of Staff to the White House Military Office. Colonel Raths received his Master of Science Degree from the National Defense University in National Resource Strategy. He also holds a B.S. from Arizona State University in Business and a B.A. Degree from California State University, Fullerton in History and Political Science. Since retiring from the United States Marine Corps, Colonel Raths continues his dedication to service. He was elected to Mission Viejo City Council in 2014, and was appointed Mayor in 2019.
