Created with the vision of a global company able to produce high quality garments with a value added; Grupo M begins its operations at Victor Espaillat Mera Industrial Park in Santiago in a sewing plant called AM Industries with a total of 185 employees. Lately during 80s four more companies where opened by Fernando Capellán associated to some Dominican businessman with expertise in textile operations: AM Creating industries initially with 185 employees in 1986. Start of operations of FM Industries in 1987. Industries MD , Villa González in 1988. Acquisition of TMC and Vega Textile in 1989.
