Gulf Oil Middle East Ltd (GOMEL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gulf Oil International Ltd; a part of global conglomerate Hinduja Group and was established in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, in 1986. GOMEL operates two state-of-the-art lubricant blending plants in Jebel Ali and Ras Al Khaimah, with a combined capacity of 145,000 tons per annum. Both the plants blend and manufacture a comprehensive range of Automotive and Industrial lubricants. The RAK plant also has a unique Grease blending facility. Both plants are strategically located in Jebel Ali Free Zone and Maritime City of RAK respectively. GOMEL manages Gulf Lubricants business in the Middle East, Levant, Afghanistan, Pakistan and CIS regions with a presence in over 20 countries. The company is also a supply source for many Gulf entities across the world. GOMEL activities comprise of Manufacturing, storage, warehousing, transportation and marketing of its extensive range of Automotive and Industrial lubricants. We supply to major B2B customers (Industries, Infrastructure, Mining & Fleet Customers, and Government Undertakings) and continue to remain a leading player in the market through the stellar distributor network. Safety is one of the core pillars of our operations and GOMEL boasts of Zero Accidents in 4.9 million manhours of operations. Our plants are equipped with State-of-the-Art testing Lab with a comprehensive testing facility and is benchmarked with global laboratories as it participates in ASTM Round Robin correlation program. Gulf Oil Middle east is 1st lubricant company in the middle east to have ISO 17025 accreditation by DAC, an internationally recognized accreditation body. It also has ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certifications which reflect high-quality standards adopted by the organization.
