About fifteen groups of rubber based technical articles produced by Gumiimpex-GRP today, together with retreading of truck tires, rubber coating service specific containers and rollers of wide industrial application, are results of years long investments in the present-day equipment, technology and human resources. Gumiimpex-GRP supplies the domestic market with cars and trucks tires, tires for buses and large working machines of the world's famous tire producers Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Hankook, Dunlop, Firestone, BFGoodrich, BKT... In monitoring the market needs, Gumiimpex has expanded its basic activity of tire manufacturing and processing to providing the range of products for technical maintenance of industrial plants. Gumiimpex-GRP is the first company in Croatia to start the waste (used) vehicle tire recycling business, in 2005. The main goal is to reduce the impact on the environment by reusing valuable properties of rubber. Thereby Croatia joins the countries that are trying to organize a quality waste tire management.
