Harewelle International Limited is an international development consultancy committed to poverty alleviation and supporting sustainable growth through capacity building. Established in 2006 as the parent company of the Harewelle Group, Harewelle International Limited was formed following the acquisition of ULG Northumbrian Limited by PMTC International Limited. Bringing together the skills of two of the UKs most experienced and respected overseas development aid consultancies. With a combined experience of over 35 years and in over 90 countries, Harewelle is recognised as a leader within its field and has a first class reputation for successfully implementing and managing a wide-range of international development projects and programmes. We work closely with a variety of clients, which include bilateral donors, such as DFID, IrishAid, SIDA and DANIDA; multilateral donors, such as the World Bank, the European Union and regional development banks; non-governmental organisations, civil society organisations, national governments and private sector organisations. The Harewelle Group also has companies in southern Africa (PMTC Zambia and PMTC Lesotho) and South Asia (PMTC Bangladesh), which are able to provide local and regional expertise and support.
