HCHA exists to ensure that vulnerable people have a decent place to live. We aim to provide quality housing and support services to enable elders, young people and others in the area to enhance their independence and enable them to be inolved in the community and address any additional support needs in the following areas: Economic Wellbeing Maximising income, including receipt of the right benefits Reducing overall debt Obtaining paid work/ Participating in paid work Enjoying Life and Achieving Aspirations Participating in chosen training and/ or education, and where applicable, achieving desired qualifications Participating in chosen leisure/ cultural / faith/ informal learning activities Participating in chosen work like/ voluntary/ unpaid work activities Establishing contact with external service/ family/friends Being Healthy Better managing physical health Better managing mental health Better managing substance misuse Better managing independent living as a result of assistive technology/ aids and adaptations Staying Safe Maintaining accommodation and avoiding eviction Complying with statutory orders and processes (in relation to offending behaviour) Better managing self-harm, avoiding causing harm to others, minimising harm/risk of harm from others Making a Positive Contribution Greater choice and/or involvement and/or control at service level and within the wider community
