Founded in 2016 by the renowned laser medicine expert Dr. med. C. Bettina Rümmelein, Hautwerk Akademie AG is the leading training institute for laser skin treatments in Switzerland. Our goal is to continuously improve the level of knowledge and safety of physicians and medical professionals in laser medicine through practical training and innovative continuing education opportunities. We offer a wide range of accredited courses and certifications, including training in laser skill types I-VI and training as a medical laser assistant (MLA). Our offer is complemented by internships in our specialist clinic and the organization of the annual national laser congress SGML - Laser & Procedures Zurich. Hautwerk Akademie AG forms the Hautwerk Group together with Hautwerk AG (special clinic for dermatology) and Smartaging Swiss AG (cosmetic institute) and is located in the same premises. Thanks to our close cooperation with leading industrial partners in the fields of medical technology and dermatology, we always stay up to date with the latest technological developments. Our hands-on training on approximately 40 state-of-the-art, energy-based devices and our renowned workshops enable participants to gain extensive experience and operate safely in laser medicine. We are proud that 90% of the laser proficiency certificates awarded in Switzerland were obtained through our training courses. Thanks to our many years of experience and expertise, we enjoy the trust of professionals from the entire medical sector.
