Our existing range of precision machining equipment has satisfied the needs of medium to large machining projects for over 40 years and holds us in good stead today. Our Adelaide based machine shop is supported by the machining capabilities of the Whyalla Division where we operate two medium to large capability CNC machines with other machines satisfying the needs for light machining. In addition to our machining capabilities, Heavymech provides support services such as Weld Reclamation & Machining, Metal Spray Application & Machining, Dismantle-Inspect-Report (DIR), Overhaul services, In Situ Line Boring, Site Maintenance Services and White Metal Scraping. Our site services group provides support to local mine operators seeking additional labour on down day or breakdown tasks. Our services are primarily based on mechanical trades. Heavymech are an ISO/Australian Standards Certified organisation with certifications to WorkCover SA Self Insurance, AS/NZS/ISO 9001:2008 and AS/NZS 4801:2001. The achievement of these certifications has been a direct result of our workforce consultation processes and their willing input with a shared desire across our entire business to meet customersâ demands in a sustainable and safe manner.
