Established in 2018, Hinterland Heritage Consulting works with managers of cultural and natural resources to identify and develop vulnerability assessments for those sites most at risk to the impacts of climate change, e.g. rising sea levels and coastal erosion. Additionally, Hinterland partners with heritage curators to help support and develop World Heritage Site nominations, with a strong focus on sustainable management plans and ecotourism initiatives.
