HLB Ler Lum, Chartered Accountants, was established in 1982 as Ler Co. It was set up by Ler Cheng Chye with an initial clientele of 20. Over the next two years, the firm expanded and Lum Tuck Cheong was admitted as a partner. From 1984, the firm has been actively involved in servicing existing clients and securing new clientele from various industries. In this endeavor, among others, the firm identifies potential areas for improvements and growth, carries out feasibility studies, prepares financial projections and reports in assisting clients to raise funds, advises on equity and holding structure as well as in undertaking statutory audits and receiverships/liquidation assignments. The firm has always maintained close rapport with its clients with the objective of growing with them. In the past, the firm has played a key advisory position in the public floatation of a number of companies.
