Human Element IT are an IT company with a focus on Cyber Security and Cyber Awareness Training. We believe by sharing our knowledge of identified threats we can help strengthen the Cyber Community. While all types and sizes of organisations were under attack in 2016, it is important to note that most smaller business do not have the money or the resources to protect themselves. We believe with the help of vendors and enterprises sharing more information on identified threats, collaborating as one #cybercommunity together, we stand a fighting chance against the cybercriminals that would impact our economy. We also acknowledge Cyber defense requires a 3 pronged approach. Technology, Processes and Education. Organisations shouldn't be afraid to try new and innovative technology. Processes need to be in place to mitigate risk and have a plan for remediation in the event of an attack. Education is key for all employees. It has been proven time and time again that humans cause the most risk of a cyber attack. How can employees be part of the solution when they don't know there is a threat or what the threat is? Most employees don't know their haphazard 'clicking on everything'​ creates greater risk of an attack that can have serious ongoing ramifications.
