The International Association of Counter-terrorism & Security Professionals (IACSP) was founded in 1992 to meet the security challenges in the wake of the globalization era of the 21 century. IACSP believes that the society at large must be made aware of the potential threats of terrorism and advocates that a better informed society will result in a freer one. The IACSP of Southeast Asia Region Center of Studies collaborates with researchers, academicians and practitioners on the ground to provide solutions and counter measures from the acts of terrorism and extreme violence in the region. The challenges of security lies not only with the government; since the threats inherent in our changing and borderless world must be confronted by all segments of society.
