Il Viaggio Journeys & Voyages, established in 1978, is a family-run company of great individuals who made travelling their passion. We spend time and energies in exploring places first hand, thus passing on our direct knowledge to our practised travellers. The Experience for our patrons commence with the planning of the itinerary where we tease their senses conveying authentic emotions; booking through us has a bygone tailor-style approach. We are well known for our pioneering approach in travel: even though we are small, we are looked upon as trend-setters. Until the turn of the millennium we were identified as the true South Africa connoisseurs; there is hardly a place, location or hamlet in South Africa we have not been and fell in love with. Since 2002 we have opened up new destinations, bearing in mind our commitment towards excellency, performance, style and vanguard: first the jewel of the Arabian peninsula, Oman, then the fascinating Japan. Lately Latin America, the Artic and Antartic have enriched our portfolio, inspiring us all. We pride ourselves in leaving indelible footprints only in our patrons hearts and minds, thus respecting local environments. For each destination we have devoted a considerable length of time perusing their histories, cultures, peoples and traditions. We dont simply plan trips, we become part of the destination.
