ILM Highland is a registered charity and social enterprise based in Alness. ILM's mission is to support vulnerable people to live independently at home for longer. We do this by generating income from providing a professional and fully certified route for businesses to dispose of their WEEE (Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment) in a safe, environmentally conscious, and legally compliant way. We offer a complete and secure hard drive data destruction service. Certificates of destruction and SEPA Special Waste Consignment notices are provided where required. ILM also specialises in Electrical Retail, selling a wide range of refurbished and new electrical appliances both onine and instore which can be bought and taken away the same day. We offer home delivery available from £10 and a recycling service for your old appliance. Our charitable activities includes Care & Repair and Handyperson services. Both of these services are delivered in partnership with the Highland Council and NHS Highland. These services provide free information and advice to home owners and private tenants aged over 65, or those living with a disability. We provide help in carrying out repairs, improvements or adaptations to their homes throughout Ross-shire and Sutherland. The Handyperson service also helps with minor repairs and adaptions around the home.
