the online peer-reviewed publication for residents and fellows
in-house is the online peer-reviewed publication for residents & fellows at in-housestaff.org. as newly minted physicians and surgeons, residents and fellows are at the front lines of medicine, working long hours as we learn the most formative lessons of our careers. these years of graduate medical training are a period of monumental transition, as we gain greater independence and confidence in our roles as clinicians. however, these years can also be challenging and isolating — physically, emotionally and socially. to succeed in these critical years of training, and to appreciate our unique experiences in medicine as we develop professionally, residents and fellows must turn to each other. with this publication, we aspire to create a community of support that encourages discourse among trainees about the journey in and beyond the house officer years. please visit us at http://in-housestaff.org or email us at inhouseexec@gmail.com to get involved. in-house is supported by pager publications, inc., a 501c3 nonprofit literary organization that curates and supports peer-edited publications for the medical education community, at pagerpublications.org.
