We offer a range of services including: 1) Promoting North Somerset business news, case studies and information via: www.innorthsomerset.co.uk; 2) Helping business find land, premises and development opportunities (inc Junction 21 Enterprise Area); 3) Providing a wide range of economic information and statistics for local area; 4) Providing advice and assistance for business start-ups; 5) Signposting and liaison to other council services (inc business rates, planning, environmental services, licensing and building control); 6) Inward investment opportunities working through Invest Bristol and Bath; 7) Support to business looking to expand and relocate; 8) Organise the Made in North Somerset Festival; 9) Handle filming enquiries including: Broadchurch. We work on a variety of projects across the South West including: Connecting Devon and Somerset, Hinkley Point C and are leading on FoodWorksSW - Food and Drink Innovation Centre. Our business website provides business news, events, case studies and information to over 5,500 visitors each month, as well as to more than 4,000 twitter followers and 2,100 recipients of our monthly business e-newsletter (Business Matters). We produce a range of publications with business information on North Somerset, Weston, Food and Drink and various business guides to developing in the area.
