Inchbald School of Design

the inchbald school of design, based in london, is an independent school of interior design, interior decoration and garden design, offering courses ranging from ma degree and postgraduate diploma courses to short introductory courses. the school has a long-established reputation for serious, practical training that is designed to prepare our graduates to enter the design professions and has a proven record in terms of graduate achievement within each discipline. it attracts motivated and educated students from all over the world, enhancing the rich cultural environment of the school. established in 1960, and the first interior design school in europe, inchbald provided a broad based training for designers and decorators wishing to specialise in high-end residential and commercial work. the garden design faculty followed with the same ethos in 1971. in the late 1990s the school concentrated on interior design and garden design with the inception of the postgraduate diploma and ma degree courses in 1999 and a separate term-based decoration course. the new online diploma courses in both interior design and garden design started receiving students in 2007 and 2008 respectively.
