Our Mission Statement: To make Southeast Missouri barrier free for all persons with disabilities, enabling them to live more independently, extending their rights to control and direct their own lives and empowering them to live more productive lives. To this end, we do not do things for the persons with disabilities; we enable them to do for themselves. The Independent Living Center of Southeast Missouri (ILCSEMO) is a community-based, nonprofit, nonresidential facility committed to serving the needs of individuals with any type of disability, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or religion. ILCSEMO primarily serves the Southeast Missouri counties of Butler, Carter, Ripley and Wayne.
