Independent Schools Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to Independent education. We are committed to promoting, developing and protecting the autonomy of Member Schools. We are an association providing professional services rather than an authority managing our members. The services that we provide are as diverse as our membership. Our Member Schools reflect various religious affiliations and educational philosophies. Enrolments at individual schools range from 20 students to more than 2000. There are currently 222 Independent schools in Victoria, operating on 372 campuses and educating more than 165,000 students – representing 16 per cent of Victorian school students.
