Institut océanographique Paul Ricard

In France, the Paul Ricard Oceanography Institute was among the precursors in the battle for the environment. In 1966, Paul Ricard founded this institute and assigned it the mission of extending knowledge of the sea and protecting it. Today, under the presidency of Patricia Ricard, the founder’s grand daughter, the Institute is still in the forefront in dealing with the key issues of the day. The mission of the Paul Ricard Oceanography Institute, a non-profit organization, is : - to develop practicable and innovative research ; - to publish scientific information and to render it accessible to the widest possible audience. ---- En France, l’Institut océanographique Paul Ricard compte parmi les précurseurs de la bataille de l’environnement.
