At the Family Business Institute Poland (IBR Poland), with great passion, attention and pleasure, we follow and monitor the development and professionalization of family businesses in Poland. As a Center for Knowledge about Family Businesses in the CEE Region we conduct numerous studies and analyzes in areas strictly related to the development of domestic business. IBR was founded on the initiative of Adrianna Lewandowska, PhD, who has been involved in the subject of family entrepreneurship for many years. As an independent and apolitical entity trusted by tens of thousands of entrepreneurs we are continuously building a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between business owners and experts of international class. We have created several hundred scientific publications, journalistic articles, reports, books and case studies dedicated to business practitioners. We keep in touch with over 30,000 family businesses, which we periodically educate by providing them with the latest knowledge and good practices in the area of business. Seeing the huge demand for knowledge among family businesses - representing 92% of the sector of all private companies in Poland, we decided to share knowledge and experience. All the more so because only 36% of Polish potentially family businesses admit to feel a "family business" spirit. Every year, 400 owners and successors of the largest Polish family businesses arrive at the International Family Business Congress organized by us. We cooperate with institutions that have a real impact on the professionalization of family entrepreneurship. Including organizations creating space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences at substantively prepared events.
