International Cellulosics Association

The International Cellulosics Association (ICA) is a global trade association representing the interests ‎of manufacturers, distributors and users of cellulose and cellulose derivatives. ‎ ICA is an international not for profit association under Belgian Law.‎ The International Cellulosics Association (ICA), evolved from the former Organisation Fabricants ‎Cellulosique Alimentaires (OFCA). Cellulose and cellulose derivatives are ingredients of natural origin ‎sourced from plants. They have multiple functional and technological benefits, which made them ‎essential ingredients in a variety of applications in the field of foodstuff, feedstuff, pharmaceutical ‎products, personal care as well as industrial applications.‎ ICA aims at: ‎ • providing scientific and technical expertise for the support of a favorable regulatory landscape ‎for cellulose and cellulose derivatives worldwide • communicating and educating stakeholders on the science and benefits of cellulose and ‎cellulose derivatives in different applications • sharing information to its members on scientific and regulatory developments at international ‎level related to cellulose and cellulose derivatives Contact: E-mail: secretariat@icacellulosics.org
